Quick History of St. Patrick’s Day

My youngest daughter was asking me about St. Patrick’s Day last week. Who is he? Why does he have a day? I was ashamed to say I didn’t know. It was time for this mama to be better informed about this green holiday.

One attribute the video didn’t mention was why you are allowed to pinch someone who isn’t wearing green. Hmmm? Do you know the answer to this? And what do leprechauns have to do with anything? I wonder if St. Patrick is thrilled to have so many people chugging down lots of beer today?
