My kids only have 2 more weeks of school.
Summer is RAPIDLY approaching. This year went by crazy fast!
I enjoy looking around the blogosphere to see what special teacher gift ideas are circulating.
I chose some of my favorite teacher gifts I found to share with you today:
Baskets, Pots & Bag
Top Left – Summer In A Basket Created by the talented Dandee. She included a Fizze Drink, cute paper straw, Essie Nail Polish, gift card & snack. It’s all placed in a cute basket with a simple chalkboard tag with the teacher’s name on it.
Middle Left – Simple red bucket you can find at the dollar store filled with unfrozen Popsicle and a cute tag tied with ribbon. Created by creative gals at Eighteen25 but you can find the FREE printable tag here.
Bottom Left – Mariah {pretty name} from Giggles Galore shared her Thanks For Helping Me Grow. This would take a little more time, but still would not be very expensive. I love the chalk board paint making it simple to personalize the bottom of the pot and the cute way she painted the top to look like a ruler. Add some flowers and what a special gift. She added a store gift card, but not necessary.
Bottom Middle – Gift From The Whole Class is the title Family Fun uses for this gift. Here is another cute way to express your appreciation using a flower pot and making your own pocket flowers and filling them with store gift cards. It looks like they used the seed packet wire holders to make the stems…great idea and so adorable!
Bottom Right – Martha Stewart reminds us how easy it is to monogram a cute tote bag. Use fusible iron on tape to adhere the fabric letter.
Top Right – ABC Basket was created by Fairy Tales & Fun. This is a great idea to involve all the students in the class to pitch in. Assign a letter of the alphabet to each child. Ask them to bring something for the basket that begins with that letter. She made cute labels and attached them to the items. Again, you could find a super cute tub or basket to place the items in to make a wow impact.
Thirst Quenchers: Tumblers & Pop
Top – Pro-Crafter Lisa Storms shares this refreshingly unique gift. Add some lemonade packets to some cute Tumblers and top it off with her FREE adorable straw tags.
Bottom Left – Beth-A-Palooza calls this Pop! Pop! Fizz! Fizz! Adorable tag made out of an apple die-cut added to a bottle of Pop. Simple but sure to leave an impression.
Bottom Right – The Irresistibly Chic Shop over at Etsy is selling these Custom Teacher Tumblers. If you want to make your own, it would be super easy to do. I did this for a birthday gift recently. Add your teachers name with some sticker letters to make a customized tumbler your teacher will use over and over.
Small But Sweet
Top – Family Fun always has super ideas and has named this one Clap Happy. I like how you can involve your child in the gift giving process. Trace their hands, cut them out and adhere them to a bottle of lotion or sunscreen. Have your child write the sweet message on the hand. The hearts add a sweet sentiment but not necessary if you are short on time.
Bottom Left – Lori from A Place Called Joy included this sweet and simple “Mint” teacher appreciation gift in her post. Grab a tin of mints, wrap with paper and add a cute tag saying: “You were MINT to teach” Just precious!
Bottom Right – Happy to find the brilliant Domesticated Lady with her Smore Teacher Appreciation Gift. Great little gift bag including all the necessary ingredients to make a Smore. The cute tag makes the gift saying: “We need SMORE teachers like you!” Better yet, you can print the tag out for FREE! Talk about a speedy gift sure to satisfy your teachers sweet tooth!
I’m a huge advocate in showering our teachers with gifts. Teachers are under paid and under recognized. I believe giving a small gesture of our appreciation goes a long way. Click on the words/links highlighted in red to see more information about the gift.
