Spotlight Saturday

My dear friend Ange from The Blooming Hydrangea chose me to participate in a game of blogger ‘spotlight.’  I’m supposed to answer the 11 questions Ange came up with and then choose 11 bloggers who have to answer the 11 questions I come up with.  Sounded like fun to me.

1.   What are your favorite pizza toppings?

I like vegetarian pizza…so mushrooms, olives, onions, tomatoes etc.

2.   If you could swap lives with someone for a day, who would you choose and why?

That’s a really good question…I’m not sure who I would trade with or if I would want to.

My Husband said: “I would trade with you so I could see what it was like.”

My youngest Daughter said: “I would trade with big Sis,” with a giggle.

3.   Do you drink coffee?

No, and let me tell you after spending time with my friend who does, I’m pretty sure we save a LOT of money by not drinking it.

4.   If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?

This is another hard question.  I have yet to visit Australia or Hawaii, but have always wanted to go there.  I also would love to go to Europe.

5.  What was your favorite book as a child?

Mom, can you help me out with this question, please.  I don’t remember one in particular.

6.   If you were a color crayon, what color would you be?

First I have to tell you what my Son said to this question, “That is NOT possible so I’m not answering.” lol  I LOVE ALL colors, but right now I’m really into blues.

7.   Best thing of 2011?

Beach in Puerto Rico.

9.   Do you prefer a bath or a shower?

Depends, if I want to relax I like to soak in the tub.  Otherwise I’m a shower girl.

10. What is your favorite childhood memory?

Ange, you are making me really think here…hmmm.  I would say family vacations and Christmas.  I foresee a heart warming post in the future about this. ;)

11. What do you want to be when you grow up?   ;)

I want to be a Mother who can look back on her life and see the fruit of her labor.  I want to be the best Grandma possible for my grandchildren.  I hope I can visit my kids often and that my children will have close ties.

Thank you Ange for ‘spotlighting’ Family Brings Joy.  If for some strange reason you have not visited Ange’s blog, you are missing out.  She is so talented in her home and will provide hours of inspiration.  I have a new found respect for her as she openly shares her battle with Anxiety.  You can read part 1 here and part two here.  I adore how her bedroom is coming along too!  I never would have thought of painting furniture that color but is is stunning!  Recently her Husband joined in and wrote a post for her blog…it is hilarious!  I could go on and on, but I won’t.

Bloggers I’m choosing to play Blogger Spotlight are:

Carissa from Brown Eyed Fox

Amy from Coffee With The Mrs.

Jen from Waiting for the Circus

Maria Hoagland from Maria Hoagland, LDS Novelist
